About me
Casey brings thirty years of expertise in journalism, publishing, and design to his work as a graphic designer, reporter, and publisher. His career began with a foundation in graphic design, where his creative vision shaped countless projects across various industries. In 2013, Casey co-founded Oghma Communications, a company which, through it’s subsidiary, Roan & Weatherford Publishing Associates, has grown into an award-winning, mid-sized independent publisher of genre fiction and nonfiction. With a dozen years of hands-on publishing experience, Casey combines his artistic and editorial talents to bring compelling stories to life.
In 2014, he partnered with the late Dusty Richards to co-found Saddlebag Dispatches, an award-winning magazine celebrating the American West through original fiction, poetry, history, interviews, and articles.
When not immersed in his professional endeavors, Casey enjoys reading, writing, and traveling. He treasures time spent catching up with his six adult children, doting on his quartet of young grandchildren, and sharing life’s adventures with his always-supportive wife, Amy.
