About me
I’m an award-winning fiction writer living in Northeastern Oklahoma with my husband of twenty years, two children, and one very spoiled rescue dog named Zelda. I’m Secretary of my local writing group — the Last Wednesday Writers Society of Oklahoma — and I'm a current member of the Leadership Rogers County cohort. Aside from my own work, I write for local community outlets such as moreClaremore.com and the Gridiron, which is an annual live variety show produced by residents of my city.
I adore all types of books, music, food, movies, and art. And I mean ALL KINDS. I'm as likely to listen to Mozart as Pantera. I might watch Jane Eyre and follow it up with Fight Club. Tacos and crab Rangoon in the same meal? Heck yeah! Tell me all the things you love and I guarantee I will love some of them, too. If you love things I'm ignorant of, even better! Learning about new stuff is a particular pleasure, and I'm curious by nature. Thank goodness I'm not a cat.
